Embedded Lending
Embedded lending is the delivery of credit, such as factoring or working-capital finance, inside a non-financial platform's own product, so a business can access funding where it already works rather than going to a separate lender. It is powered by the lender's operations being exposed as APIs.
How it works
Embedded lending depends on the lender's operations being programmable. If verification, funding, and reconciliation are exposed as APIs, a partner platform can originate and service deals programmatically. That is the link to headless factoring: a headless engine is what makes embedded factoring practical.
Why it matters
For a lender, embedded lending is a distribution channel; for a platform, a feature that deepens engagement. Both depend on an operational core that can be called by API. Zolvo provides that core through API factoring software.
